Backtagging: Go ahead! Be aware that I'm kind of awful about dropping threads if it's been a while, though.
Threadhopping: Unless the thread's private, sure.
Fourthwalling: I'd prefer not to do that at this time.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): While I'm aware it's a common joke in the fandom, and sometimes even a serious ship, I'd prefer not to have to deal with suggestions of inappropriateness in his relationship to Ib. She saved his life and they've relied on each other in a dangerous situation. There's no need to bring in sex to account for their bond.

Hugging this character: Yes. In most circumstances, it will be well-received.
Kissing this character: Yes. Unless it's been ICly worked up to Garry will probably get all flustered, but flustered is fun!
Flirting with this character: Yes.
Fighting with this character: If by that you mean "smacking around", yeah. "Fighting" suggests that it's mutual, and Garry's probably not going to be holding up his end.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Yes, but I'd prefer anything more serious than some bruising and/or flesh wounds (or a few petals off his rose) be worked out OOCly beforehand.
Killing this character: This definitely needs to be worked out OOCly beforehand.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go ahead, and he doesn't have much in the way of defenses either.
